Incandescent Bulbs
Incandescent bulbs produce light when an electric current passes through a thin filament,
heating it and causing it to emit light. Incandescent bulbs become progressively dimmer over the course of their service life; heating the filament results in its erosion, vapour from this erosion condenses on the cooler glass and reduces transmission through the glass casing.
